CALL FOR CCHA CAMPUS HUMANITIES LIAISON OFFICERS

The Community College Humanities Association (CCHA) has developed a humanities liaison program aimed at strengthening the humanities and humanities faculty at the nation’s community colleges. Please consider becoming the CCHA Humanities Liaison Officer at your college.  Your involvement in this role would be immensely valuable to the humanities faculty and the humanities program at your college, as well as to CCHA and the humanities generally. You would also receive several benefits.

National Distinguished Humanities Educator Award Recipients Announced

The Community College Humanities Association would like to congratulate Dr. Emily S. Tai and Dr. Scott Samuelson on being awarded the highest recognition from the Community College Humanities Association, The National Distinguished Humanities Educator Award, which they were awarded at the national conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

We would also like to take this time to recognize Dr. Scott Samuelson on being awarded the Hiett Prize from the Dallas Institute for the Humanities.  This is a great honor for Dr. Samuelson, and we are honored to have him as a member of CCHA and as a past president of the Central Division.
